Nature Everywhere Community Action Challenge Information Session (Recording)
Join us for an informal session to discuss how your community can become a Nature Everywhere Community through the Action Challenge. Nature Everywhere staff will give an overview of the Action Challenge process and will answer any of your questions. This session will provide an introductory overview of how your community can be recognized for advancing children and nature strategies. This informational session is not required to register for the Action Challenge but we recommend communities watch to gain a better understanding of the expectations.
Nature Everywhere Communities builds on what we’ve learned from the Cities Connecting Children to Nature initiative, through which municipal leaders have been advancing equitable access to nature since 2014. Nature Everywhere Communities is an expansion of this work, recognizing that we need leaders from city government, education, nonprofits, philanthropy, community organizations and the private sector to drive systems-level change.
Who should attend? Ideally, the three individuals who will make up the cross-sector team will attend or watch the session. However, we recommend at least one individual from the team attend.
